iXL Training Systems - Trap Bar DL 640 lb. X 5

Greg Stott - 7/19/09 - Age 46 @ 260 lbs. OVERVIEW: The Trap Bar is a great tool for developing your core and increasing your pulling power. Technique is critical. Pause each rep. Weights used in this workout: 280x10 (Not on Video) 370x5 - 460x3 - 550x2 - 640x5x5 = 10K Lbs. or 5 Tons Volume. When performing this kind of workout, rest 2 - 3 min. between sets. NOTE: Training 100% RAW is the best way to develop your overall core muscles. By not wearing straps, you will develop your Grip Strength. TECHNIQUE: Drop your hips and push on your heels. Be explosive. Maintain your grip on the bar through each set, while maintaining that ski jumper position with your back. Your arms are just handles, holding on to the bar. Take in air when relaxed and hold your breath though the pull letting out your air at the top of the lift. Always Remember: There are No Limits Drug Free!
